PLUVIUS PITCH COVERS have been developed to the highest standards of engineering and structural integrity. The design incorporates a calculated balance between strength to be robust and durable, weight to remain stable in the wind and mobility for ease of movement.
The frames are fabricated from tubular steel sections, fully welded and galvanized after manufacture for long term protection against corrosion, with deep wide purpose made aluminium gutters.
The wheels are mounted on galvanized steel angles and have wide pneumatic tyres. Each wheel rotates on a precision needle bearing and two of the wheel assembles on each section swivel on separate large diameter ball braces to facilitate steering with the lightest touch.
The tailored white PVC polyester fitted sheets are attached to the frames with shock cord, which makes it easy to remove for winter storage. Coloured fitted sheets can be supplied to order. A standard 6.25m length of hose is fitted to each of the four outlets on each section. Longer hoses can be supplied if required.

The Pluvius Club Set consists of three individual sections covering an area 21.96m X 3.66m (24yds X 4yds.).

The Pluvius County Set consists of four individual sections covering an area 29.28 X 3.66m (32yds X4yds).

The width of the covers (3.66m) provides an overhand on each side to protect the cut width of the pitch, and the low ground clearance allows protection against driving rain.

PLUVIUS PITCH COVERS are delivered to your ground in component form, offloaded and assembled by our personnel without requiring any assistance. When completed each section is then easily pushed on and off the square by one person.
